Installation and use of Venture Ventronic Ballast

The standard warranty offered with this ballast can only be upheld providing the following Conditions of Use are strictly adhered to and you have agreed to our terms of use by registering your installation.

Conditions of Use

1. The Ventronic ballast is a sophisticated electronic device and should be treated with care. A dropped ballasts will sustain internal damaged and must be discarded.
2. The ballast must be operated in dry conditions
3. Supply voltages including sustained spikes must not exceed 250V AC
4. The ballast case temperature must not exceed 60C and where required relevant and accurate tests must be carried out prior to installation.
5. Adequate air flow and ventilation should be maintained at all times. Grouped ballasts should be mounted with at least 75mm all-round clearance.
6. The ballast must be mounted firmly onto a non-combustible flat surface ideally one that offers heat sinking.
7. When not required the White wire must be connected to live.
8. The ballast must be electrically connected as shown and be securely and adequately earthed.
9. No serviceable parts are inside and the ballast should not be opened for any reason.
